The High Level workshop organized by PARM with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture (MINADER) and NEPAD was held in Yaoundé on the 7th of December 2017. The main goal was to share the final results of the PARM process to the Cameroonian authorities and to the bilateral technical and financial partners.
The objective of the workshop was to present and discuss the results of the feasibility study on information systems linked to warehouse in Cameroon and its integration into the national policies and investment plans.
Given the strong commitment of the Government of Cameroun to integrate ARM into the PNIA 2016-2020, the workshop also aimed to define the axes of an action plan (and potential strategic partners) including a monitoring framework to support the implementation of the ARM identified tools.
The workshop is considered as a milestone for the PARM process in Cameroon and represents the final operational activity of PARM in the country.
The results of the feasibility study on information systems linked to warehouse were shared during the panels. The tool addressed raised the interest of the government and the technical and financial partners, whom confirmed the relevance of the tool and the need to put into place synergies to ensure its implementation.
