INSURED: Insurance for rural resilience and economic development

Abstract:

INSURED is a technical assistance programme working to strengthen agricultural insurance in IFAD’s portfolio. The programme is funded by Sida and implemented by IFAD through PARM. The effects of climate change can be devastating for smallholder farmers. Agricultural insurance is one tool that can help build their resilience to climate risks.
