Cabo Verde – Final Report

The Government of Cabo Verde, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment (MAA), has been actively engaged in the PARM process since 2015, allowing the PARM Secretariat, NEPAD and other partners to assist the Government in this process by proposing a new agricultural risk management (ARM) methodology based on a holistic approach. The results of this partnership have led to the increasing awareness on ARM and development of investment proposals for ARM tools investment.

This report brings together the main results of the joint process in Cabo Verde. The report is structured in four sections: (i) summary of main achievements, timelines and expectation moving forward on ARM; (ii) outcomes from the country-level risk assessment and prioritization; (iii) outcomes from the feasibility study on ARM tool for investment; and (iv) capacity development and knowledge-sharing on ARM in Cabo Verde.
