Starting from September 1st 2014, the PARM Secretariat has been fully operational with the three new professionals on board: Jesus Anton (Senior Programme Manager); Massimo Giovanola (Technical Specialist); Karima Cherif (Knowledge Management Officer).

The PARM Secretariat, with a core funding of approximately USD 7.8 million, will be hosted at IFAD and will initially focus on 9 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. The team will be responsible for coordinating the programme activities and manage the funds in strategic partnership with NEPAD.
