Where We Work
PARM is currently focusing on sub-Saharian Africa but may expand its geographical scope to other regions in the future.
PARM’s main selection criteria are based on:
- Commitment of the government to Agricultural Risk Management (ARM) and the status of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) implementation
- Diversity in agro-climatic zones, language blocks, and socio-economic standing.
The current selected countries are: Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Liberia, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal and Uganda.
Two other countries have expressed formal interest in participating in the PARM process: the Gambia and Zambia.
