The Agricultural Risk Management Training Course (CD2), held from May 28th to June 2nd  in Ethiopia, was organized by PARM in partnership with Hawassa University, the Awassa College of Agriculture School of Environment, Gender and Development Studies (SEGDS).  The CD2 is a training of trainers (ToT), which reunited about 30 participants from the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources (MoANR), Department of extension service and the disaster and risk management commission among others, Bahir Dar University and Mekelle University.  The five day training mixed lectures and field visits by trainers from Hawassa University, PARM, Bahir Dar University and guest lecturers to provide an interesting and comprehensive training on key concepts and practical approach to ARM. The training laid the foundation to better integrate ARM into the curriculum of programs on agriculture and disaster risk reduction in Ethiopian Universities, and of vocational trainings for current and prospective extension workers.
