On the 31 March and 01 April 2016, IFAD/PARM partnered with the Senegal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Infrastructure (MAER) to organize a training seminar on agricultural risk management, which took place in Saly (Mbour) in Senegal. The seminar was organized in global agricultural context to build stakeholder capacity on agricultural risks identification, analysis, and management. It also served as an opportunity to discuss the best agricultural risk management strategies with a holistic approach beyond a humanitarian approach to disaster management.
