PARM Programme Summary Factsheet

Abstract:

PARM is an outcome of the G20 discussions on food security and agricultural growth.  The Platform is progressing through a four-year multi-donor partnership between developing nations and development partners. The partnership aims to make risk management an integral part of policy planning and implementation in the agricultural sector.

 

This two-page PARM programme overview factsheet provides a summary of PARM’s goal and objectives, governance structure as well as the processes at the country level. PARM is currently active in 8 Sub-Saharan African countries; Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Liberia, Niger, Senegal, Uganda and Zambia.
