Ethiopia – Capacity Development (CD2) Seminar

Abstract:

On the 29 May – 2 June 2018, PARM and its country partners in Ethiopia collaborated for a training of trainers (ToT) workshop on Agricultural Risk Management (ARM). The training was held at the University of Hawassa. Key participants include representatives from the Ministry of Agricultural and Livestock resources (MoALR), Mekelle University, IFAD-PADSIP, NDRMC and others from related sectors of agriculture.

 

The main aim of the training was to strengthen the participates’ knowledge of tools to manage agricultural risks and increase their skills to share the knowledge with those stakeholders that did not participate in the training but could benefit from its teachings. It was delivered as a series of six structured interlinked modules. Read this report for more information on the key outcomes of the workshop.
